Moving to the second floor of the The Old Fridhem Hotel #201-509 Main St. Availability will be Monday and Friday through February. In March more days will be added to my schedule but I’m currently figuring those out.

  • Located in the second floor of the Old Fridhem Hotel, downtown Golden. Entrance is at the front of the building, there are two doors next to each other. It is the LEFT door. Please take your shoes off downstairs, walk upstairs and you will see my sign on the door.

    If the door is closed, this means a session is in progress. Please wait in the waiting area.

  • Required 24 hours notice to cancel an appointment. This is to ensure that there is the best possible chance to re-book the time slot. 

    A charge of 50% will be applied for the first missed appointment or within the 24-hour cancellation period. 

    A 100% charge will be applied for any other missed appointments thereafter.

Meet Shauna

Her massage approach is a blend of focused therapeutic techniques and relaxation, tailored to address specific needs and priorities. She draws from various modalities, including deep tissue, swedish, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and stretching techniques. She believes that touch can create a place for the body to shift into alignment.

Shauna graduated from the MH Vicars 2200 hour Massage Therapy program in 2021. Before that, she attended the Vancouver School of Bodywork and Massage, where she completed a 600 hour program in 2017. 

In the winter of 2018, she started working at the Great Canadian Heli Ski Lodge. During this time, her passion for this profession was solidified and simultaneously brought her to the community of Golden.

Outside of her massage practice, you can find her foraging wild foods, teaching hide-tanning classes, hiking, crafting, exploring new places, growing food and flowers.
